Email privacy notice

Version: 18 September 2026 (announcements v1). This notice covers email sign-in and optional new announcement emails.

Who is responsible?

Your choice

If you opt in, we use your verified email address to send you Netsky announcements, including new song releases. The legal basis is your consent. This is optional: declining or unsubscribing does not limit signup, listening, or downloads. We do not use this choice as consent for other marketing or analytics.

We record your email address, subscription status, the time and source of your choice, and the versions of the consent wording and this notice. We also store a secret unsubscribe token. We do not collect an IP address as evidence of email consent.

Withdrawing consent and retention

Use Email preferences or the unsubscribe link in an announcement email to unsubscribe at any time. The email link does not require login. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

We keep subscription data while you are subscribed. After withdrawal, we retain minimal consent and withdrawal evidence for three years to demonstrate compliance and handle disputes, on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so, then delete it. Renewing your subscription starts a new active subscription period. Authentication records have a separate purpose and are not deleted by unsubscribing.

Sign-in and service providers

Email sign-in codes are service messages needed to provide the account access you request, not marketing. Resend delivers these codes. Convex stores account and subscription records; Vercel provides website hosting. Access is limited to the people and providers needed to operate these services. We do not sell the announcement-email list.

The site also uses PostHog and Vercel for usage analytics; PostHog can receive your signed-in email and usage activity. This optional announcement-email choice does not authorize analytics.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published data-processing terms describe international transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable: Convex, Resend, and Vercel. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data or a copy of them.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hello@netsky.sh to exercise these rights. You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
